Rachael Ray: Polish Smash
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009I would never make this recipe if the husband was home, he doesnt’ like peas, so when I saw this Rachael Ray recipe I thought it might be a good way to get the little guy to eat some peas. It worked, sort of well. Peas have never been my favorite thing to eat, but I love them mixed in with mashed potatoes. I liked this meal, and I’d say the little one enjoyed most of it!

Notes: For my sausage I used the cheddar sausage, because that is my favorite. Plus it reminds me of when I lived in Austria and we would eat cheddar sausages at all the Christmas markets. Good memories! I did do it a little differently then the book described, but same ingredients, just different method.

- grill sausages
- scoop out potatoes
- add butter and milk and mash
- add bite size sausage and mix
