Rachael Ray: Grilled Philly Cheese steak Tacos

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

I am not big on different types of tacos, but I thought I’d give this recipe from Rachael Ray a try. I do love a good Philly and I love a good taco, so why not put them both together and see how it comes out. Overall, I did like this meal, but my meat was more tough then I would have liked. I thought the flavor was good, and it really tasted more like a steak taco. I’d recommend it, I think you’d like it!

Cookbook: Everyday with Rachael Ray Magazine

Total Time: 25 minutes

Notes: The only thing I might do differently is marinate my meat overnight with some meat tenderizer. I went to a different store because I knew they would have flank steak, the usual grocery store doesn’t carry it. So I don’t know if I just picked a bad steak or what, but it was edible. I also just used cheddar cheese, because that’s what I had on hand. I served this up with some rice and beans, and the leftover amazing salsa from the Salsa dogs on Monday.
