Rachael Ray: Crunchy Almond French Toast
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009A while back I made a Rachael Ray recipe for Almond French toast, and I loved it. This one had a little twist by adding cornflakes. I liked the other one much better. I felt like there was a lack in flavor, it just wasn’t sweet enough for me. I’m not a huge fan of french toast to start with, but I do like it sweet!
Recipe: Crunchy Almond French Toast
Cookbook: Cooking Round the Clock
Total Time: 15 minutes
Notes: I cooked this toast entirely in the oven. All my skillets were dirty, and I didn’t feel like washing them out because, well let’s face it, I was lazy. I do think that the milk needs a touch of sugar, it would make this so much better! I didn’t make the fancy fruit topping, that’s just too much money to spend for myself. That probably would’ve made it sweeter!
