I’m sure you’re not even interested in making this Rachael Ray recipe today, but it is a good dessert. While you are probably having your fill of pumpkin and pecan pies, here is a great Fall cake recipe. I like apple pie, mostly when it is cool outside with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. Starbucks makes an apple cider that taste like an apple pie exploded in your mouth. I felt the same reaction with this cake. It is so full of apple pie with a nice hint of caramel, you’re going to want another piece!

Notes: Make sure you cool these long enough before you start icing. I always make that mistake. I think they smelled so good I just couldn’t wait to take a bite. I also had a little problem getting my cakes out of the pans, both of them didn’t come out perfect. I’m sure it would’ve looked better had I waited to ice it. But it was still so good!
