Rachael Ray: Golden Potato Mash
This is the first of two Rachael Ray side recipes featured in her Thanksgiving recipes at www.rachaelraymag.com. My grandmother always has sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes at our Thanksgiving dinner. I haven’t always liked sweet potatoes, but this past year they really started growing on me. I thought this is a brilliant idea to mash them up together. The taste is just fabulous!

Total Time: 20 minutes, depends on how many potatoes you need to boil
Notes: I obviously didn’t boil 2 pounds of potatoes. This would be easy to minimize for smaller gatherings. Did I mention how great the color is? It is just beautiful. Instead of heavy cream you could probably use 2% milk to make it even healthier. By using both types of potatoes, you eliminate the need for butter, I didn’t even miss it!
