Rachael Ray: Fancy Puffy Party Poppers
Welcome back from my edition of Rachael Ray’s Breakfast at the Beach! We’ll start this week off with an easy party food. You could eat this for dinner too; like my best friend and I did! Although this is very similar to the Bacon and Swiss Dip I made recently, I really liked it a lot better. So if you were going to serve one at a party; I’d serve this one!
Recipe: Fancy Puffy Party Poppers
Cookbook: Rachael Ray Online
Total Time: 25 minutes
Friend Says: “This is really good!” (She’ll be filling in for the husband on occasion!)
Notes: Wal-Mart, at least the one I go to, does not have boursin cheese, which is great. I love that cheese, but it does run a little expensive, so I just used cream cheese. I was going to add some herbs to it, but it was late, I was tired, so I went with plain cream cheese. If you make this following her recipe, I’m sure you’d get more then I did. I didn’t need a lot, and my puff pastry might have thawed to long so I tried to roll it out; I wasn’t real successful with that, but it still tasted great! I also cooked the bacon in the microwave while I sauted the onion. I also can’t find a block or shreddred Swiss cheese, so I used slices again.
