Rachael Ray: Banana Ice Cream Fake Out
I choose this Rachael Ray recipe for today, because I didn’t want to cook. So that’s just me being real, being honest. I also thought this would be a good snack for the little one (he’s not so much a baby anymore). He loves milk and bananas. I think I would consider this a dessert if I added some chocolate syrup, otherwise, it’s a great breakfast for me and the little one!
Recipe: Banana Ice Cream Fake Out
Cookbook: Rachael Ray Online
Total Time: 5 minutes (does not include freeze time)
Notes: Well I made this from memory after I read the recipe. I froze the banana slices the night before, but I didn’t whip them up before adding the milk. So mine was a little more like a shake, not as thick as ice cream. I might try it again, but it was still very good. I really enjoyed it.
- Banana Ice Cream Fake Out
- Ingredients

- add bananas and milk to blender (should whip bananas first)

Oh man….when I was born I had a tiny pin hole leak in my stomach. The Dr’s advice at the time was that potassium would eventually seal it up. Guess what the easiest way is to get potassium into a baby?
You guessed it – bananas.
To this day, the mere sight of a banana turns my stomach a bit, but this is a unique way for me to try and see if I can somehow manage to re-introduce myself to them. Thanks!
