Rachael Ray: Christmas Pasta

December 25th, 2009

I have been excited to make this Rachael Ray pasta all year. It did not dissappoint! There were so many wonderful flavors. It was really great. To me, really it is a glorified meat sauce, but it was better then most meat sauces I have tried in my day. I love meat sauce, so that is saying a lot!

Notes: I did not use veal because I can not find it at the local grocery store, and I thought I had some cheese, but we didn’t, which was sad. We used a little shredded mozzarella.

Rachael Ray: Italian Sponge Cake In Five

December 24th, 2009

This Rachael Ray dessert makes up in no time. As many of you have noted, there is no baking involved. I will say it is important to buy good sponge cakes. The sponge cakes that I bought were not great. So the ice cream and strawberries were good. I liked the honey on the cakes, just the cakes didn’t taste right. That’s my best advice for this one.
