Rachael Ray: Christmas Pasta
December 25th, 2009I have been excited to make this Rachael Ray pasta all year. It did not dissappoint! There were so many wonderful flavors. It was really great. To me, really it is a glorified meat sauce, but it was better then most meat sauces I have tried in my day. I love meat sauce, so that is saying a lot!

Notes: I did not use veal because I can not find it at the local grocery store, and I thought I had some cheese, but we didn’t, which was sad. We used a little shredded mozzarella.

- Ingredients
- saute bacon (I substitued this for pancetta)
- brown sausage
- add onion and garlic
- add in carrot
- deglaze with red wine
- stir in beef stock
- add crushed tomatoes
