Rachael Ray:Cinnamon Chipotle Salsa

December 27th, 2009

For Christmas my brother got me Rachael Ray Top 10 List Cookbook. All the recipes this week to finish out the year come from it. This recipe is pretty light because our travel plans for Christmas got messed up by the massive snow storm here in OKC. But you just make do with what you can! I love salsa, so I was really excited to try this one. It is a good one. My mom tried it and she said, oh this is hot. This is not a mild salsa, but it’s a great hot one!

Total Time: 10 minutes

Notes: I used about 1 and a half chipotle peppers, and the cinnamon in this cools it off a little. The perfect compliment.

Rachael Ray: Peanut Butter and Jelly Moose

December 26th, 2009

This Rachael Ray dessert was good and rich. It also involves no baking, but would be a good ending to a nice meal. I’m sure it is very kid friendly as well. What kid doesn’t love PB&J? I’m not going to say this is the last dessert of the year because I haven’t made next week’s grocery list, but it would be a good one to end on!

Total Time: 15 minutes

Notes: There really isn’t much I did differently, except I served this up in a random martini glass I found.

Welcome
I like to cook and post about it in this blog. In 2009, I cooked a Rachael Ray recipe everyday for my family. You can check out the featured receipe from 2009. Here's hoping this blog makes your lives a little less work and more enjoyable!
