Rachael Ray: Stuffed Hot Sausage Meatball Subs

I have made another Rachael Ray recipe where you stuff meatballs and serve it with spaghetti. It is a favorite around here, so I thought this would be a little different, but it sounded good. I will say I am not sure I was a huge fan of sausage meatballs. They were good, but not my favorite. The flavor is a lot different then a regular meatball, which surprised me a little. Overall it was a good sub, but probably not something I’d make again.

Total Time: 30 minutes

Notes: I didn’t do anything different, well I let the meatballs sit in the sauce after they came out of the oven, just to soak up some flavor.

  1. Man, my grandmother was from Sicily and she made the most incredible meatballs I ever tasted, like you wouldnt believe. Sadly, she didnt leave a recipe for me so I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own… slowly working my through the meatball recipe here, I still cant figure out what her secret ingredient was though!!!
