Rachael Ray: Breakfast Fondue

I saw Rachael Ray make this on her show not to long ago, something about it just looked so good. I was hesitant to try it because I do not make gravy from scratch. Personally, I think making gravy is hard. The only person I know that makes perfect gravy from scratch is my grandmother. When we have biscuits and gravy at our house, it comes from a mix, not from scratch. Every time I attempt to make it, it turns out incredibly lumpy and not good. I will say this gravy turned out excellent, we may be kissing that pouch goodbye for good! However, I do not enjoy the smell of bacon that lingers in the house after you fry it.

Total Time: 25 minutes

Notes: I served our Breakfast Fondue with biscuits, roasted potatoes, and bacon. It was delicious! I wish I had a fondue pot to serve it in, maybe I’ll put that on my Christmas list!

Try doing the bacon in the oven. I set a cooling rack over a sheet pan and cook it at 350 for 20 minutes. I live in an apartment so I TOTALLY understand the smell of bacon lingering for days! This helps cut down on the *lingering* a bit. :)
