Pasta with Meat Sauce Recipe
Well if you’ve been following my Rachael Ray cooking a while back I told you to save your meat sauce from the pizza rolls. You may have been asking why? Well, let’s face it, every cook needs a little break. So this meal was halfway done! So this was meat sauce with your choice pasta. I choose little bow tie pasta, that’s not the proper name, but it’s what I call it. Plus meat sauce is always better after sitting together for a while! I served this up with a little salad, and I almost added some garlic bread, but then decided I didn’t really need it!
Recipe: Your choice pasta with Meat Sauce
Cookbook: Everyday with Rachael Ray Magazine, 2/2009
Total Time: 20 minutes
Husband Says: “It was good. The only difference was the noodles were smaller. I thought it tasted the same as your other meat sauce.”
Notes: I defrosted the meat sauce in the microwave while the pasta was cooking. I also didn’t use celery or carrots in this recipe, mostly because at the time I made this, I was tired of them. I will say this meat sauce I feel is very Italian. It taste like you’re having it in Italy! I really enjoyed it, and I enjoyed a little bit of a night off!

Ok, I have a tip for you Michelle. I know it’s going to sound weird…but stay with me. In my meat sauces, instead of chopping up carrots, or buying them frozen and already chopped, I just dump in some baby food carrots. My meat sauce is pretty acidic so it helps to neutralize some of the acid and I don’t have to chop!
