Rachael Ray: Oatmeal for a Cold Morning
In college I ate a lot of oatmeal, so I was excited to find this Rachael Ray recipe. I thought, well this will be a little different then the cinnamon or brown sugar oatmeal I used to eat. I also love dried cranberries so I was happy to use those over raisins. It’s a chilly morning here so the oatmeal was a perfect breakfast! The little guy even gave it a try.
Recipe: Oatmeal forĀ a Cold Morning
Cookbook: Cooking Round the Clock
Total Time: 15 minutes
Notes: I tried to use my grater to grate the apple, but it just didn’t work, so I sliced it as thin as I could. I didn’t top mine with nuts, I bought them, but decided I didn’t really want them in my oatmeal. I did top it with a little butter and some sugar, I wished I put more sugar on it, it needed a little more. I also only made half of this recipe, which still makes a lot of oatmeal.
