Rachael Ray: Scuderi Kids Fast Bake Ziti

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

A while back someone suggested that I try this Rachael Ray recipe. I think that this is probably the best baked ziti I have ever had. It was so good, I loved every single bite! I would highly encourage you to make this, you’re going to love it. I was curious about the bechamel sauce, and if it would really taste different. It did, and it was well worth it.

Total Time: 30 minutes

Notes: The only thing I did differently was I didn’t use asiago cheese, I would’ve loved to, but I couldn’t find any. I used a mixture of Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. I loved the browning on the top, it just made the dish!

Rachael Ray: Pita-za Crostini

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

This Rachael Ray recipe is more of an appetizer recipe. It is featured with some other Pita-za in late nite bites, but I just made this one. It is very colorful so it would look great on an appetizer bar. It reminds me of bruschetta. It is full of flavor, but probably not enough for your family for dinner!

Notes: I didn’t change a thing on this one, but I left 1 pita with just cheese for the little one. He loved it!
