Rachael Ray: Bistro Burger with Carmelized Shallots
Sunday, October 11th, 2009This Rachael Ray recipe has more to it then I made. There is a goat cheese and beet salad, but I passed on that part of the recipe. I specifically made these for 2 reasons: 1- I wanted a burger, 2- I needed to use up more of my $3.00 spent on fresh thyme. This one accomplished both of those things. I was very happy with the outcome. I really enjoyed the burger overall. I didn’t add anything else to it, not even another dressing on the bun. Really, it didn’t need it!
Recipe: Bistro Burger
Cookbook: 356 Days: No Repeats
Total Time: 25 minutes
Husband Says: “Did you put any dressing on it? (Me-”No”) Well, I’ll try it without, it’s good. I liked it.”
Notes: Other then not putting the goat cheese and beet salad, I followed the rest of the instructions. My buns weren’t as grilled as I would’ve like, but it was just taking too long, and I was starving. Sometimes a girl’s got to eat!
