Rachael Ray:Baked Ziti

Not only does Rachael Ray have some great recipes, but her mom Elsa has some good ones too. My sister-in-law likes Baked Ziti, so I thought I’d try this one out. I actually made this for a luncheon and then sent some left overs in the husbands lunch. There was a little bit left, but not much, so this will feed a crowd. So this may not be an actual Rachael Ray recipe, but her mom, that’s close enough and we can all get some good recipes from our moms!

Recipe:Elsa’s Baked Ziti

Cookbook: Big Orange Book

Total Time: 25 minutes

Husband Says: “It was alright, nothing to special, just a pasta dish.”

Notes:I didn’t do anything different with this recipe, and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very nice, slight spice to it, which I feel like is different then other Baked Ziti recipes I have made. I think you’ll like the extra kick! If you make this let me know what you think, I would recommend it! It comes together really easily as well.

Thanks that was a great read. I can’t believe it , but it’s my wife’s and my 10th anniversary next week. We met in Italy, and had the most delicious shrimp pasta in this little cafe in Rome. I’ve been looking all over the net for a decent sounding recipe to see if I can make some myself to surprise her, and I even found a shrimp pasta homepage full of them! Thought you might like to know, you can find anything on the net nowadays it seems!

I like to cook and post about it in this blog. In 2009, I cooked a Rachael Ray recipe everyday for my family. You can check out the featured receipe from 2009. Here's hoping this blog makes your lives a little less work and more enjoyable!
