Rachael Ray: Sour Cream and Chive Waffles

I know this Rachael Ray recipe is a day early, and we’ll just say I’m playing the flexibility card. So we’ll switch these waffles and the ragu! I’m honestly not that big on making something homemade that I can buy in a box and add water too, but I needed an easy meal and this looked easy enough. I didn’t make everything that goes with this recipe, well because my husband likes maple syrup on his waffles, and making a ligon berry syrup would’ve been a waste of time, ingredients, and money. So hear you have the waffles, standing by themselves, with some plain old syrup!

Cookbook: Big Orange Book

Total Time: 15 minutes

Husband Says: “These are good.”

Notes: As I said earlier I didn’t make the berry syrup or the sausage. The baby and I ate our waffles with sugar, and the husband had maple syrup. I also didn’t have chives, so these are sour cream and chive waffles, without the chives! I’m not sure I’d make these again, maybe the batter needed more sugar? There was something off about them. They were moist, and fluffy, just didn’t taste perfect!

In the meantime, I’ll edit that post to include a trackback to this waffle recipe. :)
