Rachael Ray: Honey Orange Glazed Ham Steaks with black bean, corn, and zucchini salad
I really like Rachael Ray’s ham steak recipes, the are quick, tasty, and budget friendly. The ham steaks are a nice change from our regular menu that includes mostly chicken. It is interesting to me that I used to hate ham, I never wanted to eat it, I always chose turkey. Now, I almost can’t stand to eat turkey and would much rather have ham. I don’t understand why that happens; although it may be that I’m just burnt out on turkey, and I’m sure my love for turkey will return someday!
Recipe: Honey Orange Glazed Ham Steaks with black bean, corn, and zucchini salad
Cookbook: 365 Days: No Repeats
Total Time: 25 minutes
Husband Says: “The ham is good, I like the glaze.”
Notes:I only cooked 1 ham steak, I might should’ve cooked 2, the husband still wanted more. Personally, it was plenty for 3 of us. I also didn’t have another jalapeno, and the salad was fine with out it, although I wished for some spice. Other then that I didn’t change anything. I really enjoyed all of the flavors, it was a nice meal.
