Rachael Ray: Barbecue Burger Deluxe
This Rachael Ray burger is unlike anything you’ve ever had. I had some friends in college that put barbecue on their burgers while they cooked on the grill, and before I met them I would have never put barbecue on a burger. Now, I rarely will eat one without barbecue sauce; this is a nice twist to that. The hamburgers smell wonderful and taste even better. I think you’ll like this burger recipe, you’ll regret it if you don’t try it!
Recipe: Barbecue Burger Deluxe
Cookbook: 365 Days: No Repeats
Total Time: 25 minutes
Husband Says: “The burger was good, too much bread. Wasn’t a fan of the onion rings, too greasy.”
Notes: There is one thing I did different in this recipe: I didn’t add onions to the meat mixture, my husband has a thing about to much onions, so I just put them on the burger, plus we had onion rings (which he loves, go figure!). Those were another Rachael Ray recipe, but I’m horrible at making onion rings, so I guess I need to work on that before I post about it. (Or I need someone to contain my child so I can cook properly.) The only other thing I’d do different on the burgers is either make the patty larger or use different bread. I have never used kaiser rolls before with burgers, Rachael always does, and personally I am not a fan. To each their own. Overall next time we have a cookout, you can bet money I’ll be making these burgers.
